AMD Coverage Roadmap
A worklist for the NVIDIA Tests Not Run on AMD set: what to register, in what order, and what each phase buys. Derived live from the same/api/coverage/overview snapshot the
Coverage page uses, so it refreshes with every hourly rebuild.

Gap files remaining after each phase
Counted in files, not percentages: the coverage ratio on the Coverage page
divides totals and AMD's nightly surface is larger than NVIDIA's, so that
ratio can move without any of these files being closed. Phases are
independent — reorder them freely, the totals do not change.
Gap by readiness
Readiness is inferred from the file path using the AMD-enablement rules:
NVIDIA-only kernel families (Marlin, NVFP4, FlashInfer/FA3, ModelOpt, GGUF,
GPTQ, bitsandbytes, SM120, EAGLE) need real ROCm work; hardware-agnostic
folders are a registration away; everything else should be probed on MI325
before committing.
Phases
Ordered by coverage gained per unit of risk. Click a phase to filter the worklist below.

Target AMD suite comes from the NVIDIA suite via the standard mapping
(
base-* → stage-*-amd,
base-b-kernel-* → jit-kernel-*-amd,
nightly-* → nightly-amd-*). A dash means AMD has
no equivalent suite yet, so the file needs a workflow change rather than a
registration. Verify on both lanes: pr-test-amd.yml (ROCm 7.0,
automatic) and pr-test-amd-rocm720.yml (ROCm 7.2, dispatch only).
Blocked backlog — excluded NVIDIA tests (-)
Click to expandNot part of the roadmap above: these are already off the AMD-comparable denominator because something about the hardware or the libraries blocks them. Each theme is a candidate for a ROCm engineering project rather than a registration PR. Full per-file list lives on the Coverage page.

How to read this.
The Coverage page headline divides totals, and AMD's nightly surface is larger than
NVIDIA's, so it can sit near 100% while per-PR signal is missing. This page works from the
file list instead: every NVIDIA registration that is AMD-comparable and has no enabled
register_amd_ci(...). "Overlap Today" is the bounded version of the same
question — the share of NVIDIA-comparable registrations AMD also runs — and it reaches
100% exactly when this worklist is empty.
